But seriously, good music is a catalyst in my life. I love music. I love the way it can change my mood for a minute, or touch my soul eternally. It's magic, it's pure expression, it's energy and sound waves, it's amazing and awesome.
Margo Jean and The Rubes completely stopped me in my tracks the first time I saw them.
Me and 100 other people at the Downtown Saturday night that evening. Yeeeehaw and Wow! So much fun!
I've been a hard core fan ever since. I've been jonesing since they left Arizona. The fanclub gives me an excuse to stay hip to the latest MJ news and occassionally visit the Windy Apple (Simpsons joke).
When I offered to host an official fanclub for the Rubes, I was declined. More specifically Margo Jean told me "It would have to be on the Randomosity site so I can have final say on what gets posted." (Yeah, she's one of those, calls family photos at a backyard BBQ "paparattzi.")
