Description
They smoke the stage with rippin' rompin' original music plus a variety of cover songs including early rock-n-roll and country classics. The fire in their bellies is a rage on the stage with rich harmonies, ripe songs, and lush performances. Infectious and accessable - think Ramones meets Loretta Lynn - there is toe tappin' and knee slappin' across the board with music fans. From punk to funk, alt to mainstream, Margo Jean & The RUBES satisfy with a no whine, steel spine, bang up good time.

The Players
One cool thing about Margo Jean and the Rubes is that you never really know who the Rubes will be or what they will be playing at each show.  You can expect guitars and bass, sometimes mandolin, harmonica, steel, or slide, often drums, sometimes other nifty percussion.  One show might be mostly rock covers, another might be entirely folk-oriented, and later will burn rubber rockabilly style.  Rubes music hosts a variety of talented musicians and styles.   We will post photos and history soon.
