MUSICAL STYLES
Randomosity FITNESS Music is designed to support your fitness lifestyle with upbeat songs that are consistent length and format.   Each CD has 45 to 60 minutes of music for all your cardio-workouts.  For the fitness and dance instructors every song is perfectly mixed to 8 count 32/64 phrasing.  Our songs have limited lyrics and vocals that help with master cuing and will not compete with your voice and cues.

We are proud of our diverse musical influences, but it makes it difficult to label the sound of our music into one category. Each song on every CD sounds completely different because of our unique blend of styles and instruments. This list describes our specific influences and the sounds we have created for you.

Blues
Features acoustic or electric guitar. Our music is a driving BB King style of Blues-Rock (Chicago Blues) and is not like the old-time Robert Johnson style Delta-Blues.

Country
Features natural sounding instruments like acoustic guitar, finger picking, and the modern country music sound.

Dance
Our dance music sounds like Prince without the dirty lyrics.

Dixieland Boogie
Dixieland means snappy snare drum and bouncy horns. Boogie is horns, bass and/and or drums that are highly motivating to the glutes and hips.

Folk
Traditional songs which feature natural sounding instruments like acoustic guitar, also called Americana.

Funk
Anything that says Funk has to mean lots of lively bass. The bass might even be the melody of the song.

Groove
Groove features great percussion and hand drums. Sometimes featuring 70s style keyboard and organ sounds like Stevie Wonder or world beat including percussion, stringed instruments, horns, and pipes.

Jazz
Jazz includes dozens of different styles.  Big Band is one influence you’ll hear in our arrangements.   The other jazz influence in our music is the call-and-response style - where a piano phrase of 8 or 16 would be followed by a saxophone phrase of 8 or 16, back and forth.

Latin
It sizzles and swings and all those good things.   Features horns, piano, guitar, drums, and hand drums.

Rock
At it’s most basic that means guitar, bass, and drums, but in our hearts it’s a million times more.

Techno
Our Techno influence includes synthesized and futuristic sounds.
