1. I MUST GO

and I don’t know what it means but it’s true
I do not know which way, or where to
and I’m feeling kind of funny along the way
It all feels so different anyway, anyway

And I don’t know what it means
selfish as I might be,
I will drive away, I will drive away

I will drive away the feeling
as the firestorm keeps stealing
the cool air from the breeze
No, I don’t know what it means
No, I don’t know what it means

I read the words you sent and I wondered what you meant
the thoughts behind the reasons I don’t know
The fire that still burns
You know fear is only learned
And I must go

It gets harder the more I try
to find the truth behind the lies
to convince myself of what I believe
No, I don’t know what it means
No, I don’t know what it means

I read the words you sent and I wondered what you meant
the thoughts behind the reasons I don’t know
The fire that still burns
You know fear is only learned
And I must go

2. PASS AWAY

Do you have a cigarette?
'cause it's one of those times
that I am down and out.
Most the time I do just fine.
I can hold my own.
Then there are the times,
I feel so all alone.
These feelings I do not understand.

I pushed and I ran,
from the things I did not understand,
like no one else has ever felt this way.
Please talk to me while these thoughts pass away

This morning I woke up from a dream.
I can not describe how real it seemed.
It was like you were really there,
and you already knew.
I could see it in your eyes.
You felt the same pain too.
These feelings I try understand.

I pushed and I ran,
from the things I did not understand,
like no one else has ever felt this way.
Please talk to me while these thoughts pass away

3. UNRAVELED

Sometimes I try so hard to understand
but still I never will, I thought we could, you know we can
Sometimes I let the music just carry me away
Upside down, spin around forever in a day

How many times will I fall before I can catch myself,
how many times more
When I try to make sense of it all,
confusion and nothing else, not like before

You know you’ve got to start somewhere
even if it is today
You know you’ve got to start somewhere,
somehow, some time, some way

I unraveled, I unraveled a mystery

Wilderness surrounds me, fear is on my mind
dreams I see ahead of me, and trouble’s not far behind
lost in a daydream, amongst the push and pull
down and out, scream and shout,
get a grip don’t lose your hold

How many times will I fall before I cut myself,
how many times more
When I try to make sense of it all,
confusion and nothing else, not like before

You know you’ve got to start somewhere,
even if it is today
You know you’ve got to start somewhere,
somehow, some time, some way

I unraveled, I unraveled a mystery

4. KEEP COMING BACK

I tried to be real for so long now
I tried to be true never knowing
and I try to take things literally
but look at me where am I going

Where am I safe?
Where can I go?
Who can I trust?

Whoa, and I am coming back
I keep coming back
to think about these things

I wouldn’t sell you, oh for a smile
I might let you tell me awhile
that life is rough, but you’ll pull through
it’s more than enough with a friend like you

There I am safe,
There I can go,
You I can trust

Whoa, and I am coming back
I keep coming back
to think about these things

I keep coming back, I keep coming back
to think about these things

5. THE WAY THINGS ARE

Well aren’t you just a pretty little thing
You know what you want, want makes you sing
At the sad parts you pretend to cry
For what you want there is a lie

If I don’t fall in love I’m a cancer
She don’t mind she wears her answer
between the ways, she is that way
there’s always a boy hurt yesterday

I don’t feel, and I know that’s just the way things are
These are real: I gotta go, eat, sleep and have a car.
A little money and a cup of Joe get me really far

Is it the words that make you experience
what you love and what you need?
Can the words make you feel?
I know they can if you believe

I don’t feel, and I know that’s just the way things are
These are real: I gotta go, eat, sleep and have a car
A little money and a cup of Joe get me really far

6. LISA BONFORTE

I was seventeen I didn't know what it means.
I still don't know.
You were fourteen with a teenage dream.
That seems so long ago.

I can't say I don't see the reasons you left me.
I am to blame.
I was trying to be cool, acting like a fool.
Every time I heard your name.

Every time I heard your name

There's a freight train running down the tracks.
You can hear the whistle blow two miles back.
The air is heavy but the breeze feels light.
I can see you there on that moonlit night.

The peace in our hearts, that look in your eyes
while we held each other the train passed by.
That's a feeling I won't forget.
Letting go is all I regret every time I heard your name.

Now you're gone
half across the country to fulfill that teenage dream.
So from now on the sky that I look upon,
will only remind me that you're gone.
Every time I heard your name

7. DON'T GIVE UP

I was in love once and you know it scares me
that it didn't quite turn out how I expected it to be
but that's alright and that's okay. I'm sure it's all the same
If I can still find the happiness in what it all became

I nearly lost myself in my love for someone else
if I just took the time I would have seen I was blind
and now I can be free if I just let myself be

I was in love once and you know it bothers me
that someone could take the word love,
but not know what it means
but that's alright, and that's okay
'cause I'm not one to blame
that someone could take my love and play it like a game

I nearly lost myself in my love for someone else
if I just took the time I would have seen I was blind
and now I can be free if I just let myself be

Well I'll say I was in love
and it slipped right through my hands
and I'm sure I'll fall in love again
I hope next time it doesn't fade away
'cause if love is love it won't fade away

True love can handle the change,
Don't give up, Don't give up
True love can handle the change,
Don’t give up, Don't give up
Don't give up, no, no, no
Don’t give up now, Don’t give up now,
Don’t give up now, no, no, no
Don’t give up, Don’t give up

8. I'M STILL THINKIN'

Well maybe lately I’ve been kind of lost
You reach out for a hand to share the cost with you
I’ve been running, I’ve been driving
I’ve been thinking of what to do

Today it seems I’ve come five hundred miles
Strange is the question that asks is it worth while
Never answered, never right
kind of puts things in a different light and,

I’m still thinking, I’m still thinking
I’m still thinking of me and you
I’m still thinking, I’m still thinking
I’m still thinking of me and you

Ask of me the questions and I’ll tell you no lies
I still won’t know the answers, oh why,

I’m still thinking, I’m still thinking
I’m still thinking of me and you
I’m still thinking, I’m still thinking
I’m still thinking of me and you

9. SOCIETY'S TRASH

Let me paint you a picture of a little lost soul
as I look into her eyes I see no future to uphold
and there many more like her wandering the streets
looking for happiness in everyone they meet
looking for happiness in everyone they meet

Everyday we see them on the news
left home alone or killed by their own
where did we go wrong to find a better way
to help the day dreamers find a better way
to help the day dreamers find a better way
Somehow she missed out
grew up too fast, her childhood passed
Mom and Dad don’t care they were never there
and we all call her Society’s Trash

Video games, and the TV shame
it’s not the same anymore
people they talk of change but I’ve heard it all before
How will they know which way to go
with no path or visions to follow,
if no one lends out their hand
If you just take the time I’m sure you’ll find
She’s a one of a kind, with a precious mind
but if you don’t try you can look her in the eyes
and tell her why you call her Society’s Trash
Society’s Trash, Society’s Trash

10. I WILL BE

I will work harder for a love that really lasts
I will be stronger when the hard times come,
‘til they are past
I will be true to thee,
I’ll be grateful, I will care
I will love and I will share

I could be your superstar
and you could be my sweetheart
all the things that you need I will be

Love is the answer to the question of loneliness
love is a shelter from all things new and all we miss
I hold for you love that’s true,
not just a promise of words I give
but a heart felt passion in the lives we live

When the hard times comes our way
you know the words that I will say
all the things that you need I will be

I will be true in my love for you
no, I won’t walk away
have faith in what I say
and I will be, I will be
all the things that you need...I will be

11. THAT STRANGER WAS YOU

I saw a stranger walking the other day
He looked into my eyes as I looked away
The sign he was holding said I’ll work for food
Think twice when you see him
for what if that stranger was you

It makes me stop and wonder
what this world is coming to
when every stranger’s prejudged as the enemy
What if that stranger was you
What if that stranger was you

Do unto others as you wish done unto you

I saw a stranger stealing he was just a little boy
He was stealing candy, and a two dollar toy
You know his family
couldn’t afford to buy him new shoes
Think twice when you see him
for what if that stranger was you

It makes me stop and wonder
what this world is coming to
when no one lends a helping hand
to the ones that have no where to turn to
to the ones that have no where to turn to

Do unto others as you wish done unto you

12. I WILL FIND A WAY

Lately I’ve been having a hard time
Some days are better , some days I fall behind
Sometimes I know, others I doubt
if all that I hope for will work out

I wonder, I wait then the answers come to me
I can finally see, I will find a way, I will find a way
I will find a way

I dream of happiness and nothing more
love like this is worth waiting for
It won’t always be easy, this much I know
there’ll be times when I feel
like I’ve got no place to go

I’ll wonder, I’ll wait then the answers come to me
I can finally see, I will find a way, I will find a way
I will find a way

13. BY THE ORDER OF THE DRUM

By the order of the drum we must take it as it comes
The trigger has been thrum by the order of the drum

By the order of the drum that is where it came from
Do not let the beat benumb, by the order of the drum

By the order of the drum all who are aplomb
We must effect the outcome, by the order of the drum

By the order of the drum awake the sleeping ones
We must fight the pogrom by the order of the drum

By the fire that night cold and hungry from the fight
common soldier lost and won, by the order of the drum

Common soldier lost and won, pogrom
Father, brother, friend, and son pogrom
By the order of the drum

14. GOOD THINGS

Why must the good things come to an end?
Will I ever see you again?
Did you love me, did you care?
To leave without warning was not fair

It is over now, I am going on
‘cause your words and your actions
do not correspond

Just one more thing before I go
I loved you more than you will ever know
